Thursday 12th March

Thursday 21st May

Duration: 10am - 12noon

Clay & Calm is your invitation to pause, reset, and explore; to leave you feeling grounded and connected to yourself.

Join Libby from Magpie and the Mob for a gentle Thursday morning designed to help you slow down, take some time for yourself and explore sensory practices through clay.

Rooted in mindful practices, this two-hour class offers a supportive, peaceful place for you to take a breath. There is no right or wrong, no pressure to make something 'perfect', just time to yourself to explore the clay, your senses and mindfulness in a brand new way.

Libby has an open and gently encouraging approach that will give you confidence and freedom to explore the clay, for both beginner and experienced makers alike. Each month you will be guided through different practices and techniques to help you be present, explore the tactile nature of clay, and enjoy the process over the outcome.

What to expect:

  • A warm, welcoming space designed for relaxation and self-care.

  • Gentle guided sensory practices using clay and touch.

  • Simple techniques suitable for complete beginners and experienced makers.

  • Time to explore at your own pace with no pressure to produce a “perfect” piece.

  • A peaceful, supportive atmosphere to help you feel grounded and present.

  • All tools and materials provided – just bring yourself.

Leave feeling centred, inspired, and a little more connected to yourself.
