Thursday Throwers

What to Expect:

There are 6 people on this course.

I'll begin by finding out what you would like to work on at the start of week 1 and then with guidance help you work on your throwing and trimming preferences.

By the end of week 5 there will be the chance to throw and glaze up to 6 pots using up to 4kg of clay. (Additional clay and glazing etc can be purchased on a per pot basis.)

If you'd like to work on repeated forms, improving a particular aspect of your throwing, or learning a new form, or add-ons such as handles, spouts etc. let me know and we can look at one or maybe two of these things in the time we'll have available.

You will need to clean the pottery wheel at the end of each session and materials provided to do so. (This may take up to an additional half hour or so after our class, i.e. cleaning finished by 8:30pm)

  • Any ideas you wish to make!
